We appreciated it. Moreover, parking was nearby.
It has large rooms.
That hotel was GREAT. The restaurant was located within 100 feet.
The bed in the superior room was a dream!
The windows were not very well soundproofed, so the rooms are a little louder on the lower floors.
the room was very tidy
there was only expensive Wi-Fi in the room. We were glad not to have booked breakfast (too overpriced)
Very central location and everything is easy to reach. The hotel staff is super and very helpful.
everything is okay
The location of the hotel: Right between 5th and 6th Avenue. You can reach everything on foot. The food is good - even if the price is very high. If you want to have a cheaper breakfast etc, you will find a diner diagonally across the street (big offer in the morning/afternoon/evening; but not much to expect in terms of taste; it's just okay). The whole hotel is newly furnished. The employees are all very friendly and helpful
The rooms are rather NY-typically 'big enough'. Nevertheless, the space can be better used: There are simply no wardrobes. Too much money collection at the business center: If you want to print something (tickets etc), you pay $6 per 15 minutes for the internet - plus for each printed page. This can also be done more service-friendly
Hotel with good price/performance ratio in Manhattan. Very stylish bar and room. Attention, the Internet access is quite expensive with 14.95 USD for maximum 3 devices.
High fees for Internet access.
Despite the very central location of the hotel, no traffic noise can be heard in the rooms. The beds are also very comfortable. Especially good was the shower, which had a good water pressure and delivered warm water at all times.
Something disturbed us that the hotel bar was not served in the afternoon. Before our departure we would have liked to have a little refreshment, but we could not get anything but ice water.
The location of the accommodation was perfect. We had a room on the ninth floor to the courtyard and it was totally quiet. Beautifully furnished room with nice seating and enough sockets. High-quality products in the bathroom and a very well functioning shower. The hotel itself is very special and you'd thinks it is rather a restaurant/bar concept, the reception is very hidden in a niche. During the week there is a lot going on in the bar. We enjoyed it, but you have to be aware of it.
Almost $15 per day for the Internet is no longer up to date, but on the other hand we had extremely fast and stable Internet.
I have stayed at the Royalton a few times and love the friendliness and personal attention the staff give you. They accommodate to every detail and need to try and make you stay enjoyable. Thank you to the staff at the Royalton Hotel in New York from Shaun and the other gentlemen at the door, to Jason and Robert at Concierge who went out of the way making our stay enjoyable and to Jeff and the staff in the Restaurant who made my family enjoy every meal we ordered.
The hotel was in the most appropriate position and it has an intimate and personal vibe that allows you to feel like you are attended to your every need. I love the design from the foyer to the individual rooms that I have stayed whilst visiting New York. Thank you.
The hotel was in the most convenient place of Manhattan, the bed was perfect the staff was extremely gentle.
The overseas calls were very expensive.
My room was very big and I loved the separate dressing area and the amenities. Loved the I-pad in the room. Staff was responsive and friendly.
Elevators are small and dark. No outlet to plug in blowdryer in the dressing room area. No television guide to channels.
Pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and bathroom. There was a sitting area, bed, desk and large bathroom. The bathroom had a large shower area (no tub). Most rooms that I have stayed at in ny have been quite small by comparison. The rooms were very spa like and modern. The bar area is very nice and seems to be hopping in the evenings. We did not eat there so no comment. The location was spectacular we were within walking distance of Time Square and a million great restaurants. I would recommend this hotel for it's comfort and location. Excellent choice!
The hotel is very dark inside and may not appeal to those that have vision problems such as catarcts and the elevator doors are very narrow and might be difficult to access for wheelchairs or larger people. There may be another acess for wheelchairs but I did not see one.
The rooms were very spacious and the decor was beautifully designed.
The sink in the bathroom was tiny. For a boutique hotel, the staff was not overly accommodating. I was expecting at least the same service you would receive at any chain hotel, but it was subpar. The staff seemed preoccupied with the lounge/bar guests, than with their hotel guests. It took us almost an hour to receive our car back from valet because the girl behind the front desk was too busy talking to her friend and forgot to call valet about our car.
